Golden State Warriors Are NOW The Best Team Of All Time!

Any debate that you had going on over who will win the 2017 NBA Championship can end now. The answer has become quite obvious due to one person: Kevin Durant. Hold onto that ring LeBron, because as long as Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are a combined force, you are NOT getting another one!

The Miami Heat were great when they had LeBron. The Chicago Bulls were even better when they had Jordan. But Steph Curry and Kevin Durant joining forces is an unprecedented dream team which is sure to knock down anyone that attempts to get in the way.

Steph Curry led the Golden State Warriors to break the Bulls’ NBA record of best regular season wins with 73 wins this past season… and that was without Kevin Durant!

Now, I was one of the ones that agreed with Clyde Frazier when he said that the ’96 Bulls would beat the Golden State Warriors – even after they broke the Bulls’ record. With two top 5 players on the Golden State Warriors now… I’ve had to face facts: Golden State Warriors are now THE BEST!

Just imagine if Jordan and Kobe had played together… that is the kind of alliance we have going on right now. Now, don’t get me wrong, I know there have been some pretty impressive dream teams in the past, like the Lakers in ’87 and ’88 with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Mychal Thompson and James Worthy or the Celtics in ’86 with Larry Bird, Robert Parish and Kevin McHale. BUT just look at the Golden State Warriors projected lineup for the upcoming season:

PG Stephen Curry

SG Klay Thompson

SF Kevin Durant

PF Draymond Green

C Zaza Pachulia

Steph Curry is already considered the best player in the NBA by many right now. Whether you agree with that or not, one look at the combined stats of these guys and you’ll have a hard time disputing the fact that they will be breaking records together.

Curry has an average of 22.4 points per game, and Durant’s average is event better than that with 27.4 points averaged a game.

As I’m sure you know, Stephen Curry is the undisputed best three-point-shooter of all time. Breaking his own record, year after year, Curry currently reins with 402 three-pointers made in a regular season. And Durant is not that far behind him when it comes to three-point field goal percentage.

If that doesn’t have you convinced that their combined skills form the best team EVER, then take a look at these stats that ESPN recently shared:

Win shares: Curry: 17.9, Durant: 14.5

True shooting pct: Curry: 66.9, Durant: 63.4

PER: Curry: 31.6, Durant: 28.2

Curry is ranked number one, and Durant is ranked number two in all three categories.

I rest my case.
