Why Justin Bieber Will Win Artist of the Year at the AMAs on Sunday
Sunday was the one year anniversary of Justin Bieber’s legendary album, ‘Purpose’. This album was a major turning point for the pop-star who came into the limelight in 2010 with his hit single, ‘Baby’. Between dating Selena Gomez and several run-ins with the law, he has sustained a loyal following.
If you never considered yourself a Belieber, then you sure did after listening to ‘Purpose’. Even if you didn’t willingly listen, there is an extremely high chance you’ve heard songs from this album on the radio, at the gym, or in a bar. ‘Purpose’ gave us hit singles like, ‘What Do You Mean’, ‘Sorry’, Love Yourself, and ‘Where Are Ü Now’. It was a fantastic year for Justin and that’s how I know that he’ll win Artist of the Year on Sunday at the AMAs.

The Beliebers are Hardcore
Fans come and go. There are plenty of celebrities who have their few years of fame and then their fans disperse and move onto the next A-lister. This is not the case with the Beliebers. They’ve been by his side since ‘Baby’ first graced the internet. Even through his legal charges for reckless driving and vandalism the Beliebers never lost hope, and it’s about to pay off.
Purpose ROCKED
Highly rated by critics and fans, ‘Purpose’ was a side of Justin Bieber we had never seen before. People who claimed to hate Bieber suddenly changed their minds and rocked out to it. The album generated fan appreciation and even apparel from Etsy, Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. But why the change? Is Justin’s music maturing just as quickly as he is? Honestly, I don’t know why or how this happened, but ‘Purpose’ is Justin Bieber’s best album yet!
He’s the Comeback Kid
To say his image has changed is an understatement. Just a few years ago, the name Justin Bieber made me think of a 14 year old’s hairstyle and another Hollywood DUI. When I think of Justin Bieber now, I think of ‘Purpose’, ‘Purpose’ merchandise, ‘What Do You Mean’, maybe Selena Gomez, and did I already say ‘Purpose’? He’s back and better than ever.
There is no doubt in my mind that Justin Bieber will take home Artist of the Year on Sunday. Make sure you watch the AMAs Sunday on ABC to catch Justin and his big win. Follow Ride Of Fame on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and share your live tweets from the AMAs with us!
