On May 4th, Gray Line New York, New York City's double-decker bus and motorcoach tourism company, launched its "Ride of Fame" bus dedication campaign with New York-based Emmy Award-winning TV personality and bestselling author
Rachael Ray to be the first inaugural personality honored. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with
Rachael Ray on her bus took place in front of her studio at 222 East 44th St. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 1 p.m.
The first 50 passengers at this ceremony received complimentary tickets to travel with
Rachael Ray on this inaugural tour (tickets are on a on a first-come, first-served basis). The bus dedication included the unveiling of a special decal applied to the front of an iconic, red, open-top double-decker bus. Millions of sightseers will be able to "ride" the honoree's bus from that day forward. In addition, the honoree will be awarded with an unlimited lifetime "All Loops Tour" pass, which includes a tour that covers all major landmarks in Downtown, Uptown Manhattan and Brooklyn as well as a Night Tour.
Gray Line New York will feature a new celebrity every month on its "Ride of Fame" campaign. June's honoree, will be none other than real estate mogul, and TV personality, Donald Trump! More info to come on future celebrities and for chances to ride on the bus with your favorite!
